What more could we have asked for? A beautiful sunny evening, a crowd of happy people, lots of excellent food, a drink or two, a bouncy castle for all the kids, and Alice Lynskey filling the air with beautiful music!
As part of our National Community Day celebrations, we officially launched the 2019 Folly Festival, on ‘The Rocks’, Cullohill.
We were delighted with the wonderful turnout, and amongst the many locals, also in attendance were Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council, John King , and T.D. Sean Fleming.
And what a wonderful setting, surrounded by the rolling hills, and alongside the towering, Cullohill Castle, on such a glorious May evening.
Whilst we could not announce our entire lineup for this year’s event, we do hope to have final confirmation very soon; but we think the wonderful food, and a couple of drinks, helped sate any disappointment!
Tickets for this year’s Folly Festival, will go on sale very soon, and we will update here with all the details. We wish to thank everyone who came along last night, and trust you enjoyed the evening as much as we did.
Special mention to Alice Lynskey, one of this year’s confirmed acts, who kept us entertained for the night, with her amazing musical and singing talent. We cannot wait to see her performing in July!
Our Thanks to Affordable Castles, who kindly supplied the bouncy castle, for last night’s event.
